Wonderful Option Review by Claudia K.
Nutritional Quality Taste Value Ease of Use I absolutely loved the salmon patties in my first order! My husband and I are really enjoying trying each new dish and are now starting on our second batch. I have some health issues that make it hard sometimes to be quite the cook that I once was. These are providing a really wonderful option and they are very, very good. (Posted on 5/12/10)

4 Thumbs up! Review by susieqtpie
Taste Value Ease of Use Nutritional Quality I love a good Salmon and Crab patty! I've never found a recipe that I like so I don't make them. I'm always hesitant in ordering them at a restaurant. I don't like a fishy taste. I like chunky, flaky meat. I also want my patty to be moiston the inside and crisp on the outside.
Guess what? I found a Salmon patty recipe that wasn't fishy, it had chunky, flaky meat and was moist inside and crisp outside!!!! Best yet I can order and make it myself!!!!
It is the Wild Salmon Patties Meal kit from Healthy Pantry.
I had never made Quinoa before. I've heard people say that the have made it and it never turns out. For my first experience it turned out super! It was very easy to make. I baked it like the directions stated. Now that I've eaten it I plan on adding fresh herbs to it next time. It would be yummy with toasted pine nuts, almonds or pecans tossed too!
My DH and I loved the patties! We ate them for two days! You can easily half this recipe if you are making it for two. I just made it all at once. We both gave double thumbs up and will order this again! We had lemon slices to splash on for that extra zing.
I have two wishes for this kit. First, it would be awesome if The Healthy Pantry would come up with a tasty and healthy sauce to eat with this. Second, would be able to have the option to just order the Salmon spice packet kit without the Salmon. This would allow me to make the patties with leftover Salmon from a previous meal!

Ease of Use Nutritional Quality Taste Value i was a bit skeptical of this one but pleasantly suprised. i overcooked it a bit which made it a bit more dry. but it was great with a little sourcream on top. (Posted on 5/7/09)

Good base to start- Review by Fav Sis-in-law
Ease of Use Nutritional Quality Taste Value I ordered the sockeye salmon patty meal kit and found that it was really easy to make-so I made one patty according to the instructions and found that it was quite bland for my liking. So, I added in a varity of different spices and herbs to liven it up a bit and give it more of a creole flavoring. (cumin, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, garlic powder, white pepper and chili powder) To accompany the patties I made a variation of creole mustard and I served it with a mango salsa. The flavors really all made it come together. The kit also included the quinoa which also lacked the zing we crave, so I made a citrus southwest vinegarette (no oil) that I tossed it with. Without adding a whole bunch of calories, we added a whole lot more flavor. (Posted on 3/16/09)

simple, straightforward delicious Review by Brondaddy
Ease of Use Nutritional Quality Taste Value We found this very easy to make, super quick to prepare and quite delicious. The spices compliment the salmon and make for a unique meal. We sprinkled a bit of lemon on them and they were tasty. If you are trying for a nutritious diet while being sensible about calories, then a Salmon Patty and a light vegetable or salad make a satisfying meal. With the non perishable packaging you can keep them on the shelf as a back-up just in case you need a fast excellent meal. (Posted on 1/23/09)

Stealth Vit D Delivery System - Great for Kids Review by Tamarind
Ease of Use Nutritional Quality Taste Value Mysterious that it should be so much easier to motivate when everything is parcelled out - I guess there's a lot less waste than buying from scratch, and less decision-making. Crack a few eggs and it's showtime - we added some plum sauce for variety, but the patties are great as is - we actually ate the leftover patties for breakfast like sausages. Also, most people don't get enough Vitamin D (and the body needs Vit D to process calcium) so that's another bonus (Posted on 12/26/08)
