This chili features wonderfully-seasoned lean turkey that's filling without the fat, fragrant roma tomatoes, bell peppers, spinach, zucchini, and fiber-rich black beans.

Beans are high in fiber and protein, and low in fat. Beans are a soluble type of fiber that helps to lower cholesterol and aids in the health of your heart. Such fiber also aids in appetite control, helping you feel full longer. We need up to 30 grams of fiber a day, yet most of us are only getting 10-15 grams. Let a hot bowl of chili be the wholesome meal for you and your family's fiber needs!

To make this dinner, just brown 1 lb of turkey in a skillet, and add the bean and seasoning mix, tomatoes, dark beer, and water. Simmer for 20 minutes. No hunting for ingredients, no measuring, and no chopping-- everything has been done for you.

If you'd prefer to make this as a vegetarian dish, simply skip the turkey and it will be equally delicious!

You Provide: 1.2 lbs ground turkey, 15 oz can diced tomatoes, 1 bottle dark beer (optional), 1/4 cup cashews (for topping, optional)

Cooking Instructions To Make Chili:

Heat 1 T OLIVE OIL in large pot (4+ quart) over medium heat. Add 1.2 lbs. GROUND TURKEY or BEEF to pot and stir occasionally until cooked (no pink remains), approx. 8-10 minutes; drain any fat off. Begin preparing CORNBREAD (included), per instructions. Add CHILI MIX (included), and stir until combined. Add 1 C (8 oz) DARK BEER (or WATER), 4 C WATER, and DICED TOMATOES, then stir gently until well combined.
Optional: add extra water or beer (¼ − 1 C) for less spiciness. Increase heat to high and bring mixture to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20 min. or until beans 
are tender. Serve hot with cornbread.
Optional: top with CASHEWS and/or HOT SAUCE (included). To Make Blue Corn Bread Muffins:

Preheat oven to 425º. Grease muffin tin (or 8”x8” baking pan) with cooking spray or olive oil. In medium bowl, beat 1 egg and 1 C water with whisk until smooth. Add Corn Bread Mix (included) to egg and mix until all ingredients are just wet and no visible flour remains (do not overmix). Pour mix into muffin cups (3/4 full) and bake for 17-20 mins. or until golden brown on top and toothpick inserted into center of bread comes out clean.
