An excellent choice for any day of the week. Delicious burgers perfect for outdoor grilling or a quick broil in your oven. This savory recipe adds a flavor twist to the traditional burger, with a light Asian feel that works with or without a bun and stir-fried rice to finish the meal.
Along with great flavors, this dinner contains sesame seeds, rich in fiber, protein and many minerals, including calcium. Sesame seeds have the highest protein content of any nut or seed and have been found in studies to help reduce LDL levels (the “bad” cholesterol).
To make this dinner, just combine our bag of specially blended mix with a package of ground turkey and Hoisin sauce (included). No hunting for ingredients, no measuring, and no chopping-- everything has been done for you.

| Cooking Instructions | To Make Turkey Burgers: 1) If grilling burgers, set grill to medium heat. 2) In large mixing bowl, whisk 1 egg and 2 T hoisin sauce (included) until smooth. 3) Add ground turkey (or beef) and spice mix (included), then mix by hand until sesame seeds are evenly dispersed. 4) Form mixture into 5 patties (about ½ C. each). 5) If grilling: reduce heat to medium-low. If frying: heat 2 T olive oil over medium-low heat. 6) Cook patties for 3 minutes on one side, flip over, and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until internal temp is 165°. 7) Top with hoisin sauce (included) or fruit ketchup, and serve with Fried Rice (included). To Make Fried Rice: Fill medium pot with 1 ¾ C water and add Fried Rice mix. Cook on medium-low heat until water is absorbed and rice is tender (10-12 min). When rice is done, pour 1 tsp olive oil into small nonstick frying pan set over medium-low heat. Whisk 2 eggs until smooth, then pour into frying pan and stir often until no liquid remains. Reduce heat to low, add cooked rice and 2 tsp soy sauce (included) to eggs, and continue stirring until well mixed and heated through. |
